Born and raised in the small town of Kandiyohi, Minnesota, just outside Willmar, Barre is the youngest of three and grew up surrounded by the values of hard work, resilience, and kindness. Losing many loved ones in her teens was incredibly difficult, but it taught Barree the power of perseverance—getting up, showing up, and tackling the day, even when it’s tough. Barree believes a smile and a few kind words can change someone’s day, and that mindset drives me in everything I do.
Barree’s parents are her greatest inspirations. Her mom instilled in her the importance of strength, resilience, and kindness—reminding her that no one is going to hand you success; you have to take action. She also taught Barree the power of good old-fashioned elbow grease! Her dad, the toughest person she knows, taught her hands-on skills and the importance of always lending a helping hand to those in need. Together, they showed Barree the true meaning of hard work.
Barree married her best friend and is incredibly proud to be a mom to two amazing kids. Watching them grow—especially on the hockey rink—fills her heart with joy. As a family, they love the outdoors: fishing off the dock, hunting on her family’s land, riding four-wheelers, and taking long road trips.
Barree’s passion for real estate started with a love for beautiful homes, especially wrap around porches on classic farmhouses. The architecture drew her in first, but seeing how people personalize their spaces made her fall in love with homes even more. Helping others through one of the biggest milestones in their lives—buying or selling a home—is an honor. It’s right up there with marriage, babies, and career achievements. Barree especially loves working with first-time homebuyers—their excitement and joy make my job so fulfilling.
