Grab your baskets and get ready for the hunt! Easter is April 21st in 2019. Almost a full month later than last year. Let’s hope the weather is good with no freak April blizzards. Also, because Easter is so late this year, many “spring” events are being held in March, while “Easter” events are being held in April, so we’ll get almost a full month of events this year!

3/30/19: Spring Lake Park Lions Easter Egg Hunt | Lakeside Lions Park, Spring Lake Park | 11:30am-1:30pm | Sign your child in between 11:30am-12:15pm. Ages 2-4 begins at 12:40, ages 5-7 at 1pm, ages 8 & up at 1:20pm. Bags provided. Donations of non-perishable food items will be collected.
4/13/19: Easter Experience | Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Plymouth | 9am-12pm | Free Easter Experience event with fun activities planned. Onsite registration.
4/13/19: Anoka Women of Today Bunny Party | George Green Park, Anoka | 10am | Egg Hunt at park; party to follow at Anoka Senior Center.
4/14/19: Easter Bunny Bonanza | United Methodist Church of Anoka | 11am-12pm | Easter Bunny, photo booth, face painting, Bingo, cake walk, egg dyeing, prizes, and more.
4/19/19: Tiny Tot Easter Egg Hunt | Andrews Park, Champlin | 11am | Ages 4 & under | Bring your own basket to collect the eggs! No older kids this year. More information in the Spring Recreation Brochure.
4/20/19-4/21/19: Largest Egg Hunt in Blaine | Northpoint Elementary School, Blaine | Organized by Renovation Church, there are free hunts after every service (attendance required) – April 20th at 11:30, 1:00, 2:30, & 4:00pm. April 21st at 9:00, 10:15, & 11:30. There will be 40,000 eggs filled with candy, stickers, and prizes from donors like Chick-fil-A and Culver’s. 3 different age zones (0-3, 4-6, 7-11).
4/21/19: Indoor Egg Hunt | Imagine Church, Otsego | Kids Pre-K through 5th Grade can participate in an indoor egg hunt during either the 9:15am or 10:45am service. Find the golden egg and get a special prize.
4/21/19: Egg Surprise | Eastman Nature Center, Dayton | 1-3pm | Reuse colorful plastic eggs and create a unique bird treat. Check out a few eggs found in nature. Drop in anytime.
PAID EVENTS
4/06/19: Breakfast with the Bunny | Blaine City Hall | 9-noon | Four reservation times on the hour. Continental breakfast, craft, and photos with bunny. $10 resident; $11 non-resident, includes one child/one adult. Reservations required.
4/13/19: Eggstravaganza | Oliver Kelley Farm | 9-11am | $10/pp | This interactive “eggstravaganza” workshop helps family members explore ways to color and decorate hard-boiled eggs, and also prepare and eat them in salads, snacks, and main dishes.
4/18/19: Art When the Moon Is Full: Egg Moon | Silverwood Park, St Anthony | 7pm-8:30pm | $6/pp | Create a string-art wall hanging inspired by spring. Discover what eggs are hiding in Silverwood Park. Reservations required..
4/18/19: Eggstravaganza | Eastman Nature Center, Dayton | 10am-2pm | $5-6/pp | Play games, see live bunnies, and get egg-citing treats. Bring hard-boiled eggs to dye naturally. Pre-register. Also 4/19.
4/20/19: Natural Egg Dyeing | Eastman Nature Center, Dayton | 10am-noon | $5 per dozen eggs | Dye beautiful eggs with natural foods. Please bring a dozen hard-boiled eggs. Pre-register
